This isn't an outdated/deprecated way of using structlog, see https://www.structlog.org/en/stable/getting-started.html#building-a-context. I'd argue that most of the time we should be using local-level context instead of thread-level context. |

OK. I was following the pattern we have everywhere else. This is the only place where we use this specific pattern. |
