When i try ti copy an image from discord or twitter or telegram and try to paste it I don't avec the past option anymore.

Something seems broken.

Copy an image from an app with right click
Try to paste image in another app

Heya,

Win11Debloat doesn't make any changes to the clipboard settings, but it's possible your clipboard history got corrupted somehow.

You can try fixing it by clearing the history and then toggling the feature off and back on for good measure.

First, open Settings> Clipboard.

Hit on the “Clear” button placed next to the “Clear clipboard data” option.

Turn off “Clipboard history” and toggle it back on.

I've got quite annoying issues.

This clipboard issue too: my 'clipboard history' stopped to work.
I've tryed several things without success so far.

Also, I've noticed that these 'start menu' shortcuts stopped working:
Trello
1password

Regarding those two apps:
Trello does work if I search for it (type "trello" in the menu)
1password doesn't work anymore, anyway I've tryed.

These were uninstalled:
Photos
Store

And this just doesn't work anymore:
WIN + X ... Terminal (administrator)

@fabr2004 Could you share your logs? If you used the quick method to run the script you can find them by copying this path in Explorer: %temp%/win11debloat

Just from reading the issues, they do appear quite broad. Did these issues occur all at once?

It's possible you're dealing with a corrupted Windows install. There's a few things you can try if you haven't already:

Check for corrupt system files

1. Open Command Prompt as administrator. (Important)
2. Copy & paste the command below, and hit Enter.

sfc /scannow

3. Wait for the tool to find/fix any corrupt system files.

Fix Windows image issues

1. Open Command Prompt as administrator. (Important)
2. Copy & paste the command below, and hit Enter.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

3. Wait for the tool to find any issues. This can take a minute or two.
4. If any issues are detected. Copy & paste the command below, and hit Enter.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

5. Wait for the tool to fix the issues.

There is no folder %temp%\win11debloat.
I've already made sfc /scannow´ and both ´DISM, no success.
I've also restored the "backup version" of register, no success also.

All those issues ocurred at once and after deblot.
This windows machine has already 1-2 yers running smoothly, no other install/uninstall was made up until last month.

As of today, I still couldn't make the clipboard history work again, and this is hurting a lot.
Yesterday, I had to go into a work meeting with a notebook instead of the desktop.

When trying to reinstall Trello (which is from Microsoft Store), I'm receving this error 0x80244022 (and a message "try again in a few minutes). Seems that it is related to Microsoft Store network connection being unavailable.

How did you launch the script? If you downloaded the script locally the log will be in that folder instead.

As for resolving this, if you didn't use any other scripts/tools then Ithe only thing I can think of is to do a repair/in-place upgrade:

No success into making "clipboard history" work again.
I had to reinstall several Microsoft Store, took me a lot of time in the weekend, but they are back now.
Windows repair didn't work either.

It currently does not achieve safe results, it has relevant hidden flaws.

I'm currently facing work troubles since I use this desktop as a dev work stating and therefore need "clipboard history" so much.

@fabr2004 @axalox I have found that the clipboard history data is found at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Clipboard. Deleting the data here might help if it's corrupted, as Windows will then rebuild it again.

I really am sorry you're running into these issues, but I (and others) have reviewed Win11Debloat's code extensively, especially after the recent updates. There are no actions that (from what I can find) directly or logically would impact the clipboard history, stop apps from launching, stop (start menu) links from working or cause the MS Store install issues you've been experiencing.

I have personally run Win11Debloat on numerous systems, I have run it hundreds, if not thousands of times on my personal systems, as well as in virtual environments. The script is also downloaded 7000+ times a day. I have not encountered issues like this so far, and I do use clipboard history extensively and I also run quite a few apps from the MS Store. Not personally being able to reproduce issues like this makes it hard to pin down a cause.

Considering how rare issues like these are, and how they're not related to any functionality directly altered by the script, I believe issues like these are not a direct result of the script, but of some kind of system corruption. This corruption could have been caused during the script operation or by some rare combination of events/actions. It could even just be a coincidence. System corruption could be caused by anything, be it a random bit flip in memory, hardware issues or something else.

Yes, I’ve been there (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Clipboard) without success.
And yes, nothing else was done, except running Debloat, after which I started facing several issues.
It may be considered a rare event, but strangely my issues are related to what other users have also mentioned.
For example, Win + X and “Terminal (Administrator)” just no longer work, but who cares...

While this Debloat should work to make things lighter/cleaner, now it will force me to perform a full Windows hard reinstall, and later install every driver again, and every software again. And then wait all to resync. And then reconfigure all those little things we've set. And try no to be mad at lost passwords and so on...
