Revision status doesn't seem to update from external file structure changes

If files are added/removed in the file explorer directly, these changes seem to not be reflected inside of Visual Studio. In order to see the changes, visual studio needs to be exited and reopened. This is inconvenient when performing "hot-swap" file changes (dumping changed files into the file explorer directly with VS open)
