It looks like several users are seeing the same behavior, so this may not be an account-specific issue. Sometimes when Copilot updates the model lineup or adjusts the Pro plan limits, certain models can temporarily disappear from the selector while backend changes are rolling out. This can happen even if the subscription itself is still active. If multiple people are reporting it at the same time, there’s a good chance it’s a platform-side change or rollout rather than something wrong with individual accounts. It would be helpful if GitHub could confirm whether this is an intended update to the Pro plan models or just a temporary issue affecting the model picker. |

Hello,
I'm a paid GitHub Copilot Pro subscriber and since around March 16, 2026, several key models have disappeared from my model picker — specifically Claude Sonnet, Claude Opus, and GPT-5.4.
I have not made any changes to my account, my subscription is active and paid, and I can confirm the models are missing both in VS Code and at copilot.github.com.
I am not on the Student plan. This appears to be a bug affecting paid Pro users as well, as others are reporting the same issue in the community discussion #189268.
Please restore access to these models or clarify if there has been an unannounced change to the Pro plan.
Thank you.
