The Firefox browser asked me to "touch the security key" but there is no such thing. Also, Linux desktop doesn't usually have such thing set up.
Proposal:
Improve your security protocols. GitHub can work with Google Authenticator, why can't npm?
If you want to keep the current protocol, at least do the following:
Current workaround:
Copy the link to do it on phone. But I have to press Enter first which would open the desktop browser.
