Not Secure/Site not found error

Hi, I have my portfolio hosted at https://saivarunthupakula.netlify.app/
I have given the right CName and the PR is merged - #28775 and when try to launch is-a-dev URL https://saivarunthupakula.is-a.dev/ I'm unable to view the website rather it says not secure connection and when I select move unsecurely, then I'm getting the following screen.

This is a Netlify custom domain configuration issue. The "Not Secure" and "Site not found" errors happen when Netlify doesn't recognize the custom domain.

Fix:

1. Add the custom domain in Netlify:

   • Go to your Netlify dashboard → Site settings → Domain management
   • Click "Add custom domain"
   • Enter saivarunthupakula.is-a.dev
   • Netlify will show it as "Awaiting external DNS" - that's fine since is-a.dev handles DNS

2. Wait for SSL certificate:

   • After adding the domain, Netlify automatically provisions an SSL certificate via Let's Encrypt
   • This can take 5-30 minutes
   • Check the "HTTPS" section in Domain management - it should say "Certificate issued"

3. Verify your is-a.dev config:
   Your CNAME should point to your Netlify subdomain (not the custom domain):

4. Force HTTPS in Netlify:

   • Site settings → Domain management → HTTPS
   • Enable "Force HTTPS"

Common mistake: If you added the domain to Netlify but didn't wait for the SSL cert, you'll get the "Not Secure" warning. Give it 30 minutes after adding the domain.

Still not working? Try:

• Clear browser cache
• Check dig saivarunthupakula.is-a.dev to verify DNS is pointing to Netlify
• Verify the domain shows as "Primary domain" in Netlify
