Hi @gonchihernandez, apologies for the late response! We definitely need help here! There are a lot of agents strolling around and there is always code to be improved and cleaned up - humans are very much needed here (still). My recommendation is to subscribe to issues and/or find ones that are tagged with Please note that guidance will only occasionally come from me, and there will be a lot of Copilot reviews in the meantime. Cheers and all the best! |

Hi everyone 👋
My name is Gonzalo aka Gonchi, and I’m very interested in contributing to GitButler — especially the Rust side of the codebase 🦀.
I’ve been going through the development docs and setting up the project locally to get familiar with the architecture.
Since this would be my first open source contribution, I’d love to start with a small, self-contained Rust task to learn the codebase and workflow.
Is there an issue you’d recommend as a good starting point?
Looking forward to contributing!
Best,
Gonchi
